What is it,

What do you see

When you look at her face,

Her eyes glowing like the stars

Her lips, shrivel:  I see the shape of her heart

Her smile warm, she means well

Her kind nature, it’s a part

Of her reality

Is it truly her face

Or her heart within
What does it matter if everyone ogles at her

Yet her soul is filled with cruelty and that sinister laughter
Is it not better,

If she can reach out for your soul

Without truly using the aesthetics

Of her face

If her heart can find the space

To say

I love you,

And yours,

Love you the way

You are.
