Once you were.

Once you were white as snow
A clean soul that sees good in all
You were loved and you loved back
You smiled;  a happy life
A bright face
Our poor thing, you  couldn’t see beneath the lie
He claimed he was all yours and you were all his
But what he truly meant, you were just one piece of a puzzle for his puzzle box
He used you like a cloth
Now your purple eyes flame in rage
Your hair turns dark and all you could wish is that his blood covers the evening moon
The mountains cry for his body
Your hands composing a song of brokeness; play that violin
Your touch of darkness, see the birds fly away
Heart broken,  cross on your forehead
He will surely pay.
