My rights for my life.

Shall I stand and watch my brothers and sisters die
As they fight for their rights

Shall I watch the animal inside
Of our very trusted law enforcers
Gobble us full while they force us
To live in this their world of lies

Shall I wake up and cry
My full lungs,  my oh my
To the government hoping one day
They would listen and probably
Implement a rule of fairness and transparency
And perhaps the so growth of disparity
In our hearts shall die down
And our face will somehow learn not to frown
And burn the whole town down

The tear in our eyes
Comes not of sadness but the gas in our sight
Blood has covered our faces
A dead body
Take a few paces
And probably you’ll see the flies
Why oh why
Why should we feel this brutality in our life
Is the chaos necessary?
Can we not speak like people with right minds
Talk issues and for once not fight

For once I want to wake up from bed
And see the sun shine, my friend
Not smoke feeling the air and covering that scent
Of peace love and  harmony
For once the police should  protect
And take our innocent lives
For once let’s not agree to disagree
But let us learn from our indifference
And feel free
To accommodate each other’s patience

But with the  direction we take
It’s a few just a few  steps
And  probably this sovereign nation  might come to it’s sudden end
Just because of our political indifference
Just because we fear to accept that there is much stake in winning as there is in losing

Shall we  play the tribal cards once  more
Claiming it to be another poker game
A game of chance
Chances that involves the lives of human beings
And suddenly a de ja vu
Of the  past eight years that was just simply crood

I am not ready for war
I am not ready for the ticking clock
The time;
To break us all
Just because at one point we felt divided
Call it political incitement.
